On the 10th October 2010, I traveled to Garissa town for the first time. The purpose of the coming to Garissa was to visit the giraffe sanctuary. I was extremely shocked to see an abandoned community sanctuary, a sewage plant within the sanctuary and embarrassed to see the shock on the faces of two tourists from Indian, US.
Can you help me understand what exactly happened?
